Features
The security component allows the definition of users and groups and their related menus.
Menu names are also customizable. The user and group definition includes assignment
of menu options along with add edit and delete rights to each object.
Signature levels can also be defined at the user / group level. InfoSecurity also
provides security at an advanced level. The features incorporated at this level are:
 
LOGIN
Every user of the system needs to have a login and password to be able to enter into the
application. The user is authenticated based on the combination of the login and
password and all permissions assigned to the particular group the user belongs to are
loaded at this stage.
 
OBJECT PERMISSIONS
  This includes permissions like Add, Edit, Delete and Browse in case of records.
 
MENU PERMISSIONS
Users of a particular group can view only the menu items for which the group has been
given rights.
 
  SIGN / UNSIGN
InfoSolutions has a concept of maker checker, where the user from a superior group of a
higher level needs to check the records entered by subordinate.
Unless a group has permissions to unsign a record, the user of that group cannot modify
the record.
When a particular record is added / modified, an audit trail of the record is created and
every time the record is modified the events are tracked for future reference in the audit trail.
